I was instantly blown away by the quality of writing. Kahaney's beautiful prose are deliciously awe inspiring. The story is lots of fun, brimming with sinister baddies and off-beat heroes. The main character is a little annoying, but to her credit, she's been through a lot. I loved the action packed tale of vengeance, but found my interest waning in the last 3rd of the book. That said, I'd highly recommend it, and eagerly await the sequel!

This was a fun read and had unexpected plot twists and engaging details. I would recommend and look forward to the the next one - there are so many story lines I'd love to follow up on.
Amazing !
If I had to say anything at all is that it is very well written. One of my new favorite books! I would recommend this to any of Beautiful Creatures fans, and Hunger Games fans. You get the action and adventure, with the romantic flares in it. All in all, it's a great book. )
This book intrigued me enough to stick around for the rest of the series. It was somewhat predictable, and I'm pretty sure I see the plot lines of the next few books already...however, I'll read them.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
It kind of starts out slow but then man, does it pick up. I loved it. A couple of nice twists thrown in to keep you guessing
