A very good source of information for a healthy life.
This book was very helpful in help me understand the harmful effects of sugar on my body and ways that I can help reduce the amount that I take in everyday It is an extensive book on how to slowly eliminate sugar from your diet. It goes into great detail about the effects of sugar on your body and how to change your diet to eliminate it.
It would not be very easy to on how to reduce sugar intake, This is not just the most common sweetener , sugar is also present in other kind of food. Most of the time we are inclined to think about the literal sugar which we use as sweetener. I have always been loving sweets. But this book, reminds me that getting too much sugar intake is not healthy. This book not just include ideas on how to lessen and prevent over eating  food with sugar but also it has yoga and meditation technique which I kinda love.
I am a great fan of sweets really. I love everything that is sweet. Couple of months ago, it is hard for me. I found a lot of books on sugar detox but this book is awesome! It serve its purpose. I believe that everything is possible (same as the author at the conclusion part of the book) and with help of this book I know I can detoxify myself to sugar. The motivation of the author in this book is extremely challenging for me. Chapter 4 is very informative The sleep factor! Thank you Matthew!
The author explores specific steps toward breaking sugar addiction. He offers and overview of sugars impact on health, its involvement in chronic diseases and the issues associated with withdrawal. Sugar's impact on hormone regulation - glucagon and insuline - is an established fact and one of the reasons I was reading this book. There are some useful steps that can be used in this process. As the title says, this is a beginners guide. There author offers other resources and given the nature of sugar addiction you should plan on exploring these as well.
Too much sugar on our diet is not good for our health. However, there are people who are addicted to sugar. I am one of those people. I am a lover of cakes and chocolates. My grandmother died from diabetes so my mom is asking me to slow down on my sugar intake. It was really hard until I found this book. I never thought it would be this easy with the help of this book. It is really important to detoxify our body. This book was clearly laid out for readers to understand and broaden their knowledge about too much sugar and its adverse effect to our body.

This book has been my guide on my journey to a healthier me away from all those sugars whether from sweets or chemical sugars. It is really of utmost important that we take care of our bodies. After reading this book, it’s not difficult at all to say no at those extra calories.

Matthew Foleman has done an amazing job in writing this book. He has clearly laid out everything he wants to share to his readers. I will surely take a look at some of his books.
We all know that over consumption of anything is bad. I love sweets and I must admit I'm guilty of consuming sugar more than normal. In this book, the author written a simple and easy procedure to help keep sugar away from our lives. Even though we can't really avoid sugar, we have to observe the use of it in proper quantity and proper intervals. The author suggested a 4-week action plan to fight the cravings for sweets or reduce the use of sugar. The book is filled with important health information that we can practice on our daily lives, primarily in the purpose of sugar detoxification. One of them is to get enough sleep and ideally sleep for 6 hours every day. That we should also practice 30-minute exercise daily which is really a challenge for me for I am lazy doing exercises. But I think I should practice these things if I really want to be healthy.

And as the author said, addiction is not easy to get rid of. It really takes time, patience and effort. Hoping that I could find all these virtues so that I can do the practices in this book.
